Gone for another weekend

The bub was at Oma and Opa's all weekend long giving mom some time to relax (or mostly sleep on the couch) and a date night with dad. He always has tons of fun but loves coming home to be cuddled by us.

Pioneer's Park

A new favorite thing Lukka and I have been doing is going to Pioneer's Park one morning a week to look at the animals, 'build a nest' in the nature center, and go hiking. It tires him out but he loves it! This is him peeking through the wire fence to check out 3 elk that were eating breakfast.

30: Day 29 ANNIVERSARY WEEK

Mama and baby, perhaps around 7-8 months? Last night was the first full 24 hour stint away from the bub! He stayed at Oma and Opa's all day, night, and most of the day today, too! We miss him!

30: Day 28 ANNIVERSARY WEEK

Peaceful little thing, isn't he? Those were my favorite little overalls of his--around 3-4months old here.

30: Day 27 ANNIVERSARY WEEK

One of my favorite parts of having a newborn was seeing their little arms and legs curl up as if they were still inside Mama's tummy. Lukka only had a few fussy days, so I would lay on the couch, and have him fall asleep to my up-and-down breathing right where he was most comfortable.

The fam. I'm thinking Lukka was only about a month old in this picture, of course, Atreyu is begging for attention if someone else is getting it from Dad.
